The wind was cold and harsh, making her hair snap in the air as flakes of snow passed by her rosy cheeks. “Baka…” She let out a long sigh, folding her arms over her chest, feeling the present she had gotten him press against her with a sharp poke.
“Oi, sorry I’m late.” She turned to see him, his right hand holding a bag, she blinked, surprised.
“My, you’re in a good mood today.”
“Oh, yea, I was able to get Guy his Christmas present.” Her shoulders slumped a bit, frustrated that whatever was in the bag was not for her, Luke fon Fabre could at least be more of a gentleman…but, boys will be boys.
“That’s nice of you.” She smiled, fixing the headband that was keeping her ears warm. Luke stared at her face, she blushed momentarily “W-what, is something on my face?” She snapped, tucking back a strand of her hair. Luke gave her a quick smile and pulled down her headband, making her make a sound of protest.
“You should put your bangs back!” He teased her, pulling it up again over her nose and up onto the top of her forehead, she blinked both eyes now on Luke’s smiling face. “You look much nicer.” He said, not a hint of sarcasm anywhere, she turned her head to the side and gave him a side long glace. “I’m not lying, Tear.”
“Well thank you Luke, you’re acting very mature.” At that point Luke stuck his middle finger to his eye and puffed out his cheeks.
“Yea, yea…” He mumbled, putting the bag on the ground and shoving his hands into his pockets. “So do you have any Christmas plans?” It was really starting to snow now, bits and parts of it were landing on Tear’s face.
“Not really, staying with brother of course.” She gave a quick smile, undoing the first button to her coat, pulling out the small box. “I know it’s not much but…” She handed it to him, his eyes wide. “It’s the least I could do…for a friend.” She added quickly, her face heating up a bit; Luke took it quickly and shook it softly.
“May I open it?”
“If you feel you must.”
“Uh, wait can I give you hug?” Luke suddenly blurted, brushing some snow from his red locks, Tear’s eyes went wide also.
“Well…why?” She stuttered out, her face heating up again, Luke kicked his feet in a mini snow dune and turned to her, his face sad and ashamed looking.
“I forgot to buy you something…s-sorry!” He bowed his head and then followed suit with the rest of his upper torso, Tear blinked and a small smile appeared on her lips.
“Heh.” She let a small chuckle slip past her semi-chapped lip “Dummy it’s not Christmas yet.” She took him into the hug, resting her head on top of his.
He hugged her back, wrapping his arms around her back and looked up at her. “I don’t care, but I promise to get you a better gift.” He smiled and leaned in, kissing her nose lightly. She blushed.
“Luke!” She squeaked as he laid kisses all over her face, she blushed and let out some soft giggles.
“Aishiteru.” His warm hands intertwined with her cool ones, she smiled and kissed him softly on the lips, and her lips parting as she responded the same with a slight musical tone.
“Aishiteru, Luke…”
